help with Headline module

I'm just getting started with Xoops. I want the Headline module content to appear ONLY as a block on the top page. I don't want a seperate Headline page, and I don't want the Headline link to appear in the main menu. I can figure out how to set up the module this way. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. I can recommend replace XoopsHeadline with XHLD
and
2. You can hide any module from main menu (Admin - Modules - Visible column - 0)
3. Enable only needed module's blocks on needed pages
