Well, I think I didn't explained it well...what I have is 2 installations under 2 different directories (
http://www.blabla.net &
http://www.blabla.net/bla) and, instead of each one using each own database (blabla_xoops1 & blabla_xoops2) I want them both to use a single, shared, one (for instance, only blabla_xoops1) so everything that's stored in that database (users included) is common to both!
I've tried modifying the database names under mainfile.php so they are the same, but no results :(
As for the hack, it seems a bit too complex for what I want, and if I can't achieve it, there's no big deal!
