Hi,
I have a couple of problems when writing custom blocks.
I have already checked the FAQs and had done searches on this website, but I still can't find the answer to my problem. Please help.

1. Are there any limit to the number of custom blocks that can be inserted? Because, after I added one, the next 2 that I added can't be seen in the system admin page, whereas they do appear on the homepages. I wish to edit these blocks, but since they do not appear in the admin page, how can I recover them?

2. I've read (from the FAQ) that custom blocks can be set to visible, but that option only allows for visibility to the registered user. How can I set it to visible even for anonymous users?

1. no there are no limits as such other tan having too many will increase loading times and possibly send your users to sleep after scrolling down the screen for hours to view them goto admin then click system module, then click blocks (if they visible on top page) use the selector at top to view blocks visible on certain pages and by certain groups.

2. visibility extends to all groups, whether anonymous or registered. make sure you have set the correct permissions in XOOPS admin / system / groups manager.. click to edit anonymous group and make sure those custom blocks have a tick in the box.. XOOPS default settings do not automatically enable blocks for the anonymous group..

Yes. Thank you. I think I had found the root of the problem... the reason why I can't find the editing button was because it wasn't set to be accessible through the groups administration. Now that I have set the blocks access rights under the groups. Everything else falls in place.
