On the Module Dev Forge there is a new beta version of news 1.3 that has this as a selectable option in preferences.

I am using XOOPS news 1.3. However, I am having a hard time using HTMLArea with this version of news. It keeps telling me there is nothing in "the scoop." This seems to be worse when I cut and paste to "the scoop." Is anyone else having a problem with this. I have had to switch to koivi which I don't want to do because of Firefox issues.

What firefox issues do you have with koivi?
I'm interested on solving them.
