I had not updated my website in a while and I forgot my webmaster account password. Is there anyway to recover this password?

www.example.com/user.php (change with your own site)

Use the lostpass feature.

I found that searching the site, but unfortunately, I didn't define an email address for the webmaster account. Is there a way to go into MySQL and wipe or reset all passwords?

How about if you go into MySql and give the administrator account your email address. Then use the lost password feature, and it will email to you.

Bah! It's not that I didn't give my webmaster account an email address, I never set up SMTP!!!

Looks like a rebuild of the site... :(

Nono

1. Go to phpmyadmin or similar db management tool
2. Open <prefix>_users table
3. Locate your record (probably the first)
4. Edit the record
5. Set the password field by writing a new pw and setting the "function" to MD5
6. Log in with your new pw.
