myAlbum-P Error uploading photo

Hmm, although my myAlbum-P config seems to be correct, I don't succeed in uploading any photos. It always tells me: <b>Error: Photos are too big or some troubles about configuration has occurred</b>.
I changed the max upload image size to a couple of MB, but my image of 2.8 MB won't be uploaded. I set all read/write properties to 777 for the paths, so it can't be that... Any idea?

Thanks for any hint...

Gush, I am shocked. Now that I put the max upload image size as high as I can (would be something like a GB), it works.... Very strange...
