Firstly i am really sorry if this is on here I did look using the search option but there were so many entries that after the first 4 pages i had to admit defeat!

Basically i've just started setting up my site (i'm loving xoops!) though at first I couldn't figure it out.
I'm figuring most stuff out slowly but I cannot find out how to add a page counter! I am hosting with Lycos who offer a statistics section which I would like to use as it's linked in with everything so my brain won't get too confused !!! ( i know i'm lame!) I've got the code for it and i saw in other posts about how to enter html (wrapping?) but I didnt know where i should put the counter if I want it to show up on my homepage! (is that the only place I need to put it or does it have to go on everypage?)

Someone please help me or point me in the right direction, sorry if this is a really dumb Q.

I seem to remember having answered this post before...

Anyways, a custom block (system admin -> blocks), type HTML would do the trick. Make sure you set it to show for all groups you want (system admin -> groups) too.

hi yeah sorry you did, this is the post i did first but didnt hear back so i added it on to my other post!

p.s if u feel like it i dont suppose u could tell me which folder I go to to change the "welcome to my site" banner at the top of my page i've looked everywhere and cant find it...hmmm dozy kipper syndrome strikes again! Agggh
