Problem via the IRC chatting mod...

I've uploaded and activated the module through admin system
but I get this error: startup error: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string:""
Can anyone tell what I should do? I don't know where or who to turn to. Thankyou!

i think its the language compability...
it doesn't support chinese or something..
try to shift to English mode

Thanks for your suggestion. But I tried to change to English mode, but still couldn't get that error message out of the way. Seems that I am the only one that has this problem though, cause I searched all over the site and saw nothin' related to this situation...

I've got this exact same problem too and can't find a solution either

Got English language, got latest SUN JVM software, etc.
what kind of server config do you guys have? It must be in there somewhere.

I never had a problem with the mod itself. So i cant really help you. BUT! i did have a problem with my host, they suspended my account for breach of TOS, no IRC servers allowed.
Now i assumed the PJIRC was only an applet d/l'd to the user's machine then connected to a REAL IRC server.?
Anyways, i cant use this chat mod,which is a pity as it was the only one that worked for me. The rest gave me blank pages in their admins. useless.

I got the same thing.

Also, when I click on IRC CONfiguation link in the ADMIN CP, it doesn't do anything. It just refresh the page and nothing is happening. It just didn't do a thing. HELP
