Hi,

I want to upgrade to the latest version on Xoops. I have a working 2.0.7 site. I got the zip of the upgrade, and copied all of the files from HTML over to my site. Is that all that is necessary? I didn't see a php upgrade script or anything else. Nor did I see any upgrade instructions.

Also in the admin menu I noticed it still says 2.0.7 at the bottom of the page.

Please let me know how to begin the install, or if the file replacement is all that is necessary.

The upgrade instructions can be found in the news posts announcing the releases. In future upgrades we will make sure these instructions are also included in the distribution itself.

If you have the 2.0.7.x to 2.0.9.2 upgrade package, then it should overwrite a number of files on your server, including the includes/version.php file (if I am correct). This will make the version number in the administration section show 2.0.9.2.
