Can someone tell me how to process a mysql.sql?

I want to make up "insert...." in a file then run it to input data into my database.

Any tips?

Re: SQL Usage

Question 1. How did you generate mysql.sql? mysqldump, phpmyadmin, or another way.

Question 2. What options did you add to the sql file that will effect the import?

You can import the file with proper arguments via the MySQL CLI, or phpmyadmin. It depends on what you have access to and the way that your sql file is structured.
