Dear All,
I am a bit confused about the installation instructions in the respective document. It reads that if you install to a hosted remote server, you copy the contents of the html direcotry to the root folder where you have access, say public_html and then rename the folder to xoops. Once this is done, you should be able to access the site by typing
http://www.yoursite.com/ as it says in the manual.
My question is that since it is the html folder we renamed to xoops, should the address not be
http://www.yoursite.com/xoops?Why is it different from the local host?
