Hi,

When you install a new module, the link appears on the main block e.g. Downloads or Forum. What i need to know is exactly what file i need to edit to alter the urls of the "main" block. My second question: Is it possible to chose a different startpage, i would like to set a html page ive made as a homepage but im unsure on how to do this. Thanks for your help!

Take a look at Thios FAQ regarding a start page with your own html.

You can also customise your own links in the main menu, again there is a FAQ on this in the 'modyfying code and customistaion' section of the FAQ

The faq is at https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=261. I would suggest you look at the MultiMenu module by Malaika Systems. (Check the comments for a working download link) I've been struggling to edit/recreate the main menu for the past couple days and this turned out to be PERFECT.
