Hi,
I don't know if it could interest someone. But I develop a module which can manage recipe.

You can't find it on my website : http://www.c-ba.org or on the french's modules's repository : http://www.frxoops.org/

It is call 'Recette'.

Becarefull, there's no english version. If someone do the translation beetween french to english, I would be happy to have this file.

Have a nice day,
Cba

There is definately some people interested in a recipe module.

On your website, it would be nice to see the module for anonymous users...

Cheers,

Dear,
If you wanna to see how it is running, then you can access it here : http://supercuisto.com/

Because I uninstall it from my personal's Xoops.

Feel free to ask me, if you have any questions.

That look very good!!

couple of questions, does your module use the templating system of xoops? and also, is there a way of 'rating' the recipes?

And one suggestion: right now your module sends a recipe to a friend as a mailto link (as all "send to a friend" do in xoops). IMO it would be great if there was a way of sending the recipe itseld by mail, using a form. it would work in a similar way as sending a postcard. I guess this is difficult to do, because I didnt see it yet in any XOOPS module.

Thanks for sharing this module, I will give it a try as soon as I have time (I'm at work now)

and another question/suggestion: is there a way of entering the ingredients you have and looking for recipes with those ingredients? I guess you can enter those ingredients in a search, but maybe there is an easier way, like a checkbox list of ingredients you click for example.

one last question, does this module use the 'notifications' system built into xoops?

thanks

I didn't start from scratch, I use News 1.2.

So Yes I use the template system. There are juste one screen wich doesn't use it, it is the print's view.

Send by email the recipe's content is a good idea.

There are no rating system (in the meaning user can vote).

But there are an icon's management system, only accesible for Administrator.

I wanna to do it for the next version. (There's no date yet :)

It is possible searching with the xoops's search. If i search for 'wine salad'. It would give recipe with wine and salad.

And notifications is implemented.

Just curious ... Has there been any work on English translation files? I would be interested in them as well, Thanks.
