Hi all!

I'm getting the hang of XOOPS in general, but now I would like to get my photo gallery up and running! I have tried MyAlbum, but prefer the look of XCgallery mainly because of the e-card function!

Anyway, how do I go about using ImageMagik??? I've downloaded the .zip file but after unzipping it, it's about 80Mb - surely all this doesn't have to go onto my website?!?! So really, I'm trying to find out what goes where and how to make XCgallery find it!

I tried searching the site, but couldn't find anything about this in particular - sorry if I missed something!!

Thanks in advance

Matt

Matt
Have a look at this post it has some guidance:
old post about images

But you probably dont need to install it, most hosts have it installed.

If you are using cpanel you can check to see which one is installed by going to the left side menu and clicking on "installed perl scripts".

The path to ImageMagick , if you have it will be something lile "/usr/local/bin/convert" or /usr/local/bin/.

The link with the good info is:
