I have looked and maybe I am looking in the right area, but I was wondering if there were the basics of module creation documented somewhere.

I know php and MySQL, but I am not sure about the XOOPS API, or what I need to include when creating modules so they work seemlessly with the system.

Although I am no programmer I will try to get you started.

Start with the API dock located in the lefthand column of this site. Lots of information in there.

Then the next place I would check is The Dev WIKI for more information.

Anyway I hope this gets you started while some perhaps better answers come along.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I was just looking in the wrong place. Thanks for your help. I apologize for missing information that is included in an easy to see place. I took the development links as core development and bug fixes... an oversight by me.
