Hello.

I am having a couple of problems with getting the pop up/ drop down (not really sure how you'd describe them) menu's in newbb2 (the ones that let you mark all forums read etc.)

They work fine in FF, but IE simply does not display them at all.

I have tried adding the pngbehavior.htc to the section of theme.html, but this caused me a couple of other little problems.

The problem is with IE, rather than my site, so half of me thinks sod it, its not my fault M$ make their own rules up, but half of me realises that IE has something like 90% of the web browser market, my site show statistics of between 30-54% of users are using MSIE - seems to fluxuate, the rest are using mozilla or opera based browsers.

What I want to do is display a block ONLY to IE users, I ma not sure if this is possible though.

I would settle for a block that is displayed to everyone, that has some little script in it that says something like your browser is and an extension to the script so that when it detects an IE browser it display a little message along the lines of Your Browser does not fully support CSS, or what ever it is that is stopping IE from working correctly with my site.

Does anyone know if that is possible, and if so, how I would go about it?

Currently I just have a custom block that just warns all users of potential problems with IE

Dave
