Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but..

I have loads of problems getting modules to work, the either
dont appear in modules section when I think ive extracted them, or they appear and when I install them I get a message saying that the database is corrupt.

I also got this message when i tried to install a Module File for xoops2-mod_c_html_v1_0_1_alexxus Not Found!

I think that the FAQ is telling me to uninstall some modules, but how do i do this?
