Ok here is the noob question. When we go to our site we have to sign in of course but when we go to the forums module we have to sign in again. Is there a way to not have to sign in twice? And we seem to have a problem with people that have Norton installed. They can't post or login without diasbling it. Any ideas?

Ok we enabled SSL and that seems to have helped those without Norton, so we will se if it works for members with Norton.

you should use the FAQ or use the search block to search for firewall issues or norton or unable to stay logged in..

the problem is that XOOPS requires the use of HTTP header referals, and norton blocks http headers by default.. unblocking http headers & adding the site to the trusted sites section in norton will cure the problem..
