Hello, i´m trying to develop wellcomefuture.com

a site about the domain market.


I´m not able to create simple links on my home page to lead vistis to a section where a I would have some links to hosting and registering companies.


I tryed to duplicate the xoopspartners module in order to do this easily, but it doesn´t work, because you can not duplicate the xoopspartners (or the smartpartners module)

I just want to create several sections like the xoopspartners module (a link on the home page and several links connected to the home page, as if they were partners)


I guess it has to be easy but i can´t find the way.

the rest of the modules don´t work that well for my purposes like the xoopspartners module....

You can duplicate the module, but in order to do so, you have to do a find/replace in all of the files of the module name which would be xoopspartners, then replace it with the new module name. I have successfully duplicated modules before. It takes some time to do so, but it can be done. Also, remember to do a find/replace in the sql file too, as it has tables that are pertinant to the original module name.

If there isn´t really, could you please tell me how to do it the way you tried before?

When I open the directory xoopspartners i find several files like

admin,blocks, class,

and several files like header.php,index.php

Do i have to open this files with a especial program, because i can´t see the word xoopspartners anywhere.

Well thank you if you had a minute to explain me this a little bit.
