Hi, looking for some guidance to change the directory to which user uploaded avatars are getting placed. Currently it seems they are populating in my html (root) directory, and I have been unable to figure out where to change the setting to direct them to uploads/.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I don't know if this could be the problem but try this if you haven't already.

Go to the systems module, and enter in the images submenu. At the very bottom, you can specify where images are stored. You can also make adjustments to max size of images and other size attributes.

regards

well, i still haven't solved this issue, but of note, the filenames of uploaded avatars are prepended by the word uploads, which to me means that im missing a / somewhere in my code which is why the uploaded avatars are ending up in my root directory as opposed to my uploads/ directory.

please, any help would be appreciated.
