Hi Guys,

My name is Agus, I am new.
I am using XOOPS 2.092, news 1.21, newbb 2.01 (the latest one i think).

My question is how do I make the news listing to appear ontop of any other blocks, eg. most active topic, top news, etc.
I set the news module to appear on the index page. The problems is the news listing always appear after the other blocks.
I believe I cant solve this problem via the block feature. Can anyone help?

Also the big story block, what is it for actually? Does it show a little story about the news or just the title?

change the wieght to 1 (u will see in blocks panel it has 0 for all them.)

Wieght controls the order they are in


Edit: accually u need to make everything else in order too... like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7...... exc

0 comes b4 1

when you set the news articles as such in your blocks did you change the weight(Where it appears on the page 0 being the top 1 under that 2 under 1 and so on and so on)

Hi Guys,

Somehow its not that simple... as far as I know everything is in the right order.... but here check http://www.sepakbola.com/index.php , I still dont get why the most active topics block is ontop of the news listing....

it is that simple make the news wieght to 1 and the recent to 2

make sure they are both in the center block, it could be ur theme is having leftcenter on top of center-center...

Is that the only way? I checked the thread and it was about 3 months ago when the thread was created. Did you manage to find any other update or solution?

Sorry,
I didn't see this earlier.

No I haven't found another way to do this nor has anyone offered any other suggestion. Simply, changing the weight won't do what you want done.

I'll keep you posted.
