Designing a module with ASP or JSP

I would like to design a module using eiher ASP or JSP and add it to Xoops. Is this possible?

XOOPS is a PHP script. If you can make the proper interface, have the server run 2 different parsers, etc. sure. But that's a tough job to do...

One question emerges: Why?
You will most likely get more work integrating and interfacing - and you cannot use ASP or JSP directly as XOOPS expects certain files to be PHP files. So those files will have to interface to the ASP code.
