Hi !

I cannot connect to my site anymore, and I did not change anything in the meantime as I was not at work :

When I try to login, the system recognizes me (displays the welcome page) but then brings me back to the login screen ...

Any1 has an idea of how to login again, and eventually correcting the problem ?

it seems firewall software issue please disable it

Idon't think so as the teo PC's on which I tried to login worked yesterday evening. Do U think it might be possible my provider chaged a setting in his firewall ?

no this is your local software firewall. ( Norton , ZoneAlarm , ... )

well it is working again now, so I think my provider was testing something ... I did not change anything to my configuration ...

In case you get it again, you may want to check your xoops_session MySQL table in the database - this problem often occurs when that table 'gets in a flap'. If you flush it (empty it) using phpMyAdmin or some other database tool of your choice you should find you can login again. Do a search for xoops_session and you'll find lots of posts about it.
