Nested Smarty-variables doesn't work???

Well, small theme design trouble.
For better and more modular design I prefer include files in theme.html.
But... This construction (f.e)doesn't work
<{include file="<{$xoops_theme}>/theme_blockleft.html"}>

I cry...
Using themename instead of variable isn't elegant and power solution

Don't nest the brackets:

<{include file="$xoops_theme/theme_blockleft.html"}>
