Hi,

I look for a module which can help us retrieve information from other website. Then , it organize information and post on my own website. Now, if we have any spider module for the requirements. I need the kind module so that i can collection news from otherwebsites ( such as BBC, CNN, ...) then post on my website.

Please help me????

I've not tried it, but have you considered Digest 2.0 from WF-Projects.com? Digest is a web content fetching module that allows you to fetch, display and monitor any desired content from internet and to display on your site.

Not sure if it will do everything you want but looks like a good start.

Hi Tedsmith,

Thanks for your help. Digest 2.0 is what i look for.
I already tried it and find it is ok for news fetching.
But seem it need developped more and more advanced functions.
Vote it 4 * and suggest everybody should try it.

Try XoopsHeadLines-Duplicatable (xhld), lots of advanced filtering including subject strings and regex. Can be duplicated multiple times without modification ecxept the name.

Need to remove the xoopsheadline module first, can cause problems. Find it here: xhld
