mydl_fileup help plz

ok i downloaded this file. and followed the steps. everything waslooking good. but then after i "tried" to upload the files, but it wasnt actually uploading them to my server.. it added the content to the website. but after i went and validated the download threw the admin option. i went to download the file and it wasnt found on the server.. so i logged into ftp and it was in the uploads folder. i checked permissions their 777. for /uploads. any ideas suggestions? plz help thankx

i don't know what this file is for from ur description.. what module is it for?

u could try wf-downloads from http://www.wf-projects.com

mydl_fileup is like a download module with a nice script for uploading files from your site to your server.. but its not working properly for me. the module can be found in module repository on this site.

it's a hack for the mydownloads module i think from the description.. have u got mydownloads installed?

but i think using wf-downloads would be a better solution, as that has all those features anyway + a lot more..

ya i had mydownloads installed. and i used that module hack i guess.. i am new to all this i followed the steps it just wanst uploading the files to the site as it was suppose to.. i will check wtih your recomendation with wf-downloads tho. thankx

ok i am trying the wfdownloads and i like it much better.. but ia m having same problem.. it wont actually upload the files.. and one part of the install that i didn find wrong.. was my XOOPS version is higher then the .js files that come with the wfdownload.zip
