I get this error after successfully installing XOOPS 2.0.9.2...when I checked the "template_c folder" I could not find this file system_block_login.html.php...Can any 1 tell me where to get?

template_c must be writable by server. plz check it
in windows ( read/write)

I get the same problem with kumzzy. The wordings are exactly the same with only path differences. Moreover, with the whole XOOPS path "writable for EveryOne in NTFS", I have no idea how to fix it. Is there any more permission needed? Please advise.

Have you try to empty this folder ? so XOOPS should rewrite the cache... probably a right isuue under windows

reset as in delete everything inside the folder?
there is onli one file "index.html"

Im using a windows platform also and I have set my permissions to read/write/modify but still gave me the same errors...

has anyone succuessfully installed XOOPS in a Windows server? if so what group permissions did u guys set? My host says he is unable to set to everyone as its very vulnerable to hacking

seems like this problem is unsolvable for Windows Servers.
I will report to the officials this bug....

You need to make the templates_c, uploads and cache folders writeable, not all the folders. Those 3 folders only contain temporary files, nothing that causes security risks.

guess what...i try to install on a linux server and everything went smoothly.....i believe its really the windows platform thats causing all this problem...
