I have searched and read and searched a read. I don't think im too dumb to do this....

I am at a loss for words, I wanted to go live with the new site design 3 days ago, and im stuck.

i want to change colors, images, all kinds of stuff, and yeah, i know its ugly as it is, that's why i want to change it. I have tried editing like the indiviual template files, but my wysiwyg eds, show me this for most of them:

Anatomy of the default theme


Some tips from my experience:
Just dump any theme you select from the Themes Library in the themes folder. Next when you login to XOOPS Admin section / Preferences you will see the theme name showing. Change it and reload the homepage.Done.

You can also easily play around with the default theme. Just go to the themes folder and make a duplcate of the default theme. Name it whatever you want...like MyTheme. Go inside this folder and open style.css in NotePad and here you can change anything you like. [Before you start read up on style.css in the link I have given above]

Same way you can take any theme and modify it with few changes to suit your website look and feel.
