I'm wondering if XOOPS has support for external blogging apps. I'm using OS X and would love to use a blogging app like Ecto2 to post to it. Does anyone know any API's XOOPS supports?

XOOPS supports XML RPC for apps like wBloggar.

Any chance you can point me towards the proper documentation to set this up? My main experience with a blogging app is Ecto2, and it requires an access location. Example:

http://www.dcharti.com/blog/ is one of my blogs
http://www.dcharti.com/blog/mt-xmlrpc.cgi is my 'access point' to send content with an external app.

It's movabletype. I'm afraid I'm not that knowledgeable about what standards or formats they're using, but is there any XOOPS documentation I can look up that can walk me through setting up an external app to work with it?
