I'm using a simple multisite hack in database.php, which is working just fine. However, I notice that although I'm sharing these tables: 'avatar', 'avatar_user_link', 'online', 'priv_msgs', 'session', 'users', I still have to login to each site seperately.

Is there way to ensure that once a user logs in on one site, he's logged into the other ones also (same for logging out)?

I must admit it's not really clear to me how this logging in and sessions, cookies, etc. work exactly.

I use multisites, and unfortunately there is no fix for this yet.

From my understanding, the sessions and cookies relate to the url/domain of the site, therefore since the urls/domains are different from site to site it is not possible to have the sessions match for all the sites.

If anyone has a better knowledge of it or a way to go around this, it would be nice to be able to do.

Thanks for the info!
An auto login hack will have to do then for visitor comfort.
