The site seems to be down, would the project be dead too? Surely there must be at least one soccer fanatic among the developpers

Thanks for the info!
An auto login hack will have to do then for visitor comfort.

I'm using a simple multisite hack in database.php, which is working just fine. However, I notice that although I'm sharing these tables: 'avatar', 'avatar_user_link', 'online', 'priv_msgs', 'session', 'users', I still have to login to each site seperately.

Is there way to ensure that once a user logs in on one site, he's logged into the other ones also (same for logging out)?

I must admit it's not really clear to me how this logging in and sessions, cookies, etc. work exactly.

I solved my specific problem (see above) myself by restoring the forum step by step. The tables of xphpbbi are (of course, stupid me) sometimes different from the original phpbb tables. So I restore what tables I can through PHPmyAdmin.
The users are a problem, but since there are only 15 of them right now, I'll just insert their data manually into the xoops_users table. That seems to work, for now ...
I don't know any SQL but you can get a long way by experimenting and improvising

Apart from all that, xphpbbi works just fine here. No bugs yet.

I have a question of my own.
Is it possible to restore the backup of an phpbb2 forum through xphpbbi of PHPmyAdmin? I doesn't seem to work here. Made a data backup of the old forum, replaced phpbb2_ prefix by xoops_phpbbi_, started the sql query in myAdmin but I always get this:

I'm not very familiar with mySQL, but that's already obvious probably

Thanks for the tip. Apparently work is still in progress athttp://www.flashjab.com/

I hope they find the time to finish it. All I can do is provide language files if necessary

What's really missing from XOOPS is an easy-to-use sports league module. I only found two (LigaManager and League) but both give constant errors in XOOPS 2.0.9.
It's a shame, because almost every CMS has well functioning league modules. I don't want to switch to another CMS, I'm very fond of XOOPS, but I lack the knowledge to built such a module myself and I really need one.

What I'm particulary looking for is a league module with:
- a simple admin menu where I can add leagues, teams, players and results
- the possibility to make certain data such as the ranking of the teams appear in a seperate block
- a good integration in XOOPS 2.0.x

I'm counting on the Christmas spirit of the developpers here to grant me that gift in the months to come
