Getting rid of old modules?

For example I have the IRC Chat and IRC Module and I would like to get rid of one so it's not just taking up space on my xoops. How woudl I delete it? The only options available is to update and info.

I'm sure this has been answered before but I have searched and couldn't find a way to do this.

go to system -> modules

click to unactive the module you want to uninstall. submit!

then, the uninstall button will appear after you've unactive the module.

Thanks I never noticed unchecking the item brings that up. Thanks so much.
