Hi, i'm new to XOOPS and i just install it on my webserver. But i have a little problem. I cannot acces the admin site?

i think i must go to http://www.mywebsite/xoop/admin.php
but when i do that, i got an error page with
"You don't have the right to access this area"

How can i get to login.
I search your form, or a manual but i cannot find it. Hope someone can help me

u need to login before you goto admin

login using the login block that appears when u goto your site..

or try http://www.yourdomain.com/xoop/user.php

PS there's also an FAQ section which is very helpful and designed to help the new comers..

also in the left column (see where it says Documentation) scroll down

installation guide, operation guide etc.. ;)

That's the problem, i cannot login to anything.
when i go to admin, i get the fault i described above.
When i goto the user.php i get the standard xoop site?

standard XOOPS site?

sorry i'm missing something here.. or i just woke up in a different universe..

login to the standard site then click admin..

unless ur saying you can't see any blocks on the standard site, then that's a different problem..

The FAQ section may help you ;)

i'm uploading the complete XOOPS dir en try to install again, and i get these errors?

i'm assuming you're using XOOPS 2.0.9.2 full package?

line 104 is looking for modules/system/xoops_version.php

i would check that you have uploaded the modules/system folder correctly or check file/folder permissions to make sure they're readable or that any files aren't corrupted..
