Thank you, onokazu. I think that answers the question I was trying to ask, but perhaps failed to express clearly enough. I wasn't worried about replacing the XOOPS installation files themselves as many times as might be necessary. My concern, while waiting for an "official fix", was about any possible risk of site data corruption due to glitches in the previously posted and installed patches and, if so, how best to handle it.

No news for the new XOOPS 2.0.9.2 ? But the files can be downloaded at sourceforge.

Methinks I'll wait 'til it's official. I wonder if this one will have a "certificate" from the new QA team.

In the News page of 2.0.9.1 there was an interesting explanation about how was changed the method option array is "passed" to blocks (by Mithrandir if i don't recall it wrong...)

Is there a way to read again that?

Thanks and keep on the good (and very hard) job!

The change is how the block options are saved in the database, mainly... but apparently it caused too much trouble, so we'll have that in a later version.

Thanks for the reply... but I think i have a problem then.
After updating to 2.0.9.1 all my blocks disapperead (mylinks, wf-sections, wf-downloads, wordbook).
Then I edited as suggested and all went fine except for the wf-section latest articles block which remains "invisible".

Then upgraded to 2.0.9.2 but the problema stills remains. Any idea of what can I do? (don't know very well the XOOPS system but have a knowledge of php and was hoping to solve the problem reading again your previous instructions)

Thanks in advance.

Block problem solved

I've solved the block problem not showing (or not sorting items in the right way) simply looking for files replaced by 2.0.9_TO_2.0.9.1 and not replaced by 2.0.9_TO_2.0.9.2

Therefore I downloaded the 2.0.9.2 full install and manually replaced the files patched by 2.0.9.1 update but not included in the 2.0.9_TO_2.0.9.2 update. Then update system module and all modules whose blocks where messed and everything went just fine.

I suggest to release a 2.0.9.1 TO 2.0.9.2 patch which includes the files patched by 2.0.9.1 and then removed from 2.0.9.2 (ie class/xoopsblock.php)

Hope this can help someone.

Happy New Year!
