Sorry I don't understand you. What did you lose?.

I'll release a new version of koivi on the following days with some bugs corrected and more implementation examples on docs

I lost what I had typed. I added a table, some text and an image from the image manager, then clicked the 'toggle mode' button (at the bottom right of the screen) I assumed this would give me HTML code view?. A new screen appeared with an editing window, but there was no content. Couldn't toggle back again.

Did it in IE 5.5. and again Firefox 1.0. (Win 98)

I just have to say that the same thing happened to me in Firefox. When I typed my test entry and uploaded my image it seemed to work fine. But when I clicked preview the entry seemed to vanish.

No. I was just using the demo link that was provided in this thread.

The integrated editor boggles my mind as well. My frustration lies with my own inability to fully understand the nature of xoops. I have a site utilizing newbb2 with spaw (which is my favorite for it's excellent image uploader and manager. In order to appreciate Spaw, make sure you have 1.7. I myself am a hardcoder by nature, so I haven't even looked at the table formatting abilities of it.

I have tinkered with the xoopseditor package, installing it as directed and got mixed results. None of which were desirable. As I figure this out I will put up a dev site carefully and FULLY documenting the integration of the xoopseditor package with each module I perform the integration to. Hopefull a few of you can help me out. PM me if you're interested.

Went back to the Koivi test site today and code view now works fine. Had a couple of problems though.

I created a table (about 8 cells) but had to use 'quick add' as the table option fields were not visible in the 'add table' pop-up window. (Quick add is pretty cool though). Also, when selecting a cell and opening the foreground colour chart, I found half the chart was cut-off the right side of the screen. Finally, when I selected 'preview' the preview worked, but I got the following error message (the xxx's are mine):

Quote:
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: topicdisplay in file D:\xxx\xxx\xxx.com\public\testsite\modules\news\submit.php line 186

All on Firefox 1.0, Win 98, 800 x 600 res. This may not happen in XP or higher screen res. I have an old laptop in the kitchen and browse while I eat.

What is the xoopseditor?
