then i should change domain to [dot]org.
http://whois.sc/jadoogaran.org
my big deal is how can i change all hard coded [dot]com links to [dot]org in whole site?( all links in forum,news,article,comments,...)
is this possible from database with sql query?
database is about 150 Mb.
thanks in advance

Hello,
if ur MySQL db have small size u can export it as text or sql then edit it by notepad and replace what u want easliy.

But now u need to export needed tables then search/repacle by notepade ( use Ctrl+H )

Good luck

thanks Mowaffak but the database is too big to edit by hand.
anyone know a query to change a word via phpmyadmin?
for example change "jadoogaran.com" to "jadoogaran.org" in all links.
many thanks

if you are a surpasshosting member, have a look at this thread. Otherwise I can abstract it to here. It details scripts to make global changes in your DB

BTW bigdump will export your database. See the faq section. A simple search and replace will then do the job.

The scripts detailed on surpass are NOT tested, but in theory they would work. Best tried on a test DB first.

BTW you could use <{$xoops_url}> in place of your domain! Always a useful trick...
