does anybody know how to configure xampp 1.4.10a to use exif extension? i can see the php_exif.dll file in the extensions folder and also mbstring, but everytime i enable them in php.ini, apache says it can't find the modules etc..

also i have some software, but the files all have the extension .php5

how can i configure php.ini to recognise these extensions and treat as a php5 file.. as at the moment trying to execute them just tries to download them as the extension isn't recognised..

note: using php 5 already under xampp..

I've fixed the exif problem, that was due to exif.php being loaded before mbstring..

but i can't figure out how to get php 5 to recognise a .php5 file extension and run it.. cos at moment all it does is try to download the file instead of executing it..

never mind.. sorted it :)

had to add .php5 into apache httpd.conf :)
