I have a user that I modified to have his own avatar. Now, After removing that avatar, I do not see the stars that correspond to his rank. He's got 453 posts, but no stars/rank.

How do I get the stars/rank to be visible?

Thanks
eric

PS This is the only user this is occuring for. I would then guess the lack of stars/rank has something to do with the manual addition of his avatar by me.

avatars dont related to ranks at all. could you link your user profile?
and another question :
you change avatar from database?

Sorry, not avatar. I had avatar on my mind, but it was a "Special Rank" within the user rank.

Have you set up your new rank in 'user ranks' in admin?

Do you see the new rank and associated image in the user ranks list?

Have you made any database changes?

I did set up his new rank in the 'user ranks' admin. I then removed that new rank.

I did after I added the new rank.

I have not made any db changes directly. All changes were done through the admin.

All the changes have been made through the admin, and the problem is that after I removed the custom 'user rank', the regular XOOPS stars were missing.

I'm confused as to why the XOOPS stars have not returned after the custom 'user rank' was added then removed.

I fixed this by going directly to the DB and fixing his rank.

Hopefully this problem has been resolved in the newer XOOPS versions.
