Okay just an intro. I have a sucky hosting and the server goes down quite often.

Here is a BIG problem faced by my members in the site. When posting something in the forum. Some of them may compose a very long article.

But without knowing, the server goes down temporary. What happen was, they click submit and the page shows "PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED" as a common error page shown when the server is down. Now that pissed off the user very much. Happen to me couple of time too.

So i was wondering if something could be done here? When they press back on the browser, all the words the user typed is gone.

So ...any ideas?

The only solution I know of that works everywhere is for the user to copy/paste the text into the clipboard (or a temporary text file). Then if it doesn't get posted, it's easy to recover it.
