Hi All,

I want to change my postnuke website over to to xoops, and as my customers are probably already looking at it, I don't want my existing site to be down while I build and populate a new XOOPS site on top of the old postnuke one.

I am planning to build myself a linux box with MySQL etc so that I can install and test XOOPS and populate it will all of my data. I would then like to transfer the XOOPS site off there onto my webspace with my ISP. How easy is this to do?

Thanks in advance.
Ajoy Chundee.

It is rather easy and explained in this FAQ on backing up and restoring your site

Thank you very much for your prompt answer; I will have a look at the link you have sent me.
