Hi,

This XOOPS thing is realy overwhelming. I'm trying to get the overall scope, yet, it's rather difficult (seems endless).

I am wondering how and where to set up a simple navigation menu (pop-down menu just below the header) + how to create the hyperlinks.

anyone?

Hi supergeezer,
I'm sorry to hijack your thread. I picked up something to ask from hughs' site.

Hello hughs,
How did you do that visitormap module? Or Where could I get that module? It's so cool and I'd like to have it on my site, too.
Your site's theme look so clean and perfect. Is there the same theme with fixed width?

Thanx for everything.

Regards,
PT

Hello PT..

Thank you for your comments, well the visitorsmap module is called in fact "wherebisdu" and you can download it at, i think,... at www.theoffiz.com or just call any search engine (google) and you write wherebisdu and you'll able to download it aswell.

regards

Hi Hughs,

... just a nother hijacker...

have you tried your site with a Moz browser - the menus at the top don't work for me with FF.
But it's still a cool site!

You are quite right Alan..!! i forgot to say that, unfortunatelly up to now works only with.. yes sorry to say it.. i.e.6.0 other browsers well... same old story in my case. I use also 90 % Firefox 1.0 but it does not look all right, I'm still trying to the limits but my knowledge is very restricted regarding programming, etc, may be someone can give us ( me ) a hand.

If you're looking for a good cross-browser compatible DHTML menu generator (Free), Click Here!.

You may have to tinker with it a bit to get it positioned correctly since it uses absolute positioning. Also, the menu generating wizard only works with IE 5.5+ but the resulting menus work with just about any java enabled browser.

Just a suggestion, you may want to consider alternate navigation (redundant) for those who do not have java enabled browsers, or for users of screen readers.

BTW.. Nice site.
