The reason why the PM undeleted returned to receive_SAVEBOX is that you had deleted it in the receice_SAVEBOX^^

delete a pm ==>> to_delete=1(receive_boxes) or from_delete=1(post_boxes)
undelete a pm ==>> to_delete=0(receive_boxes) or from_delete=0(post_boxes)
read a pm or delete it without reading in inbox ==> read_msg=1
In your case,
you saved it(to_save=1) and deleted it(to_delete=1)....
but your partner don't delete your PM yet.(from_delete=0...that's why it exists in your receive_trashbox.)
and now you undelete the PM(to_delete=0...but still to_save=1...)
That's why^^
Very simple^^
the location of your PM depends on 5 flags(read_msg,from_delete,to_delete,from_save,to_save)

If your parnter had deleted it(from_delete=1) before you deleted it, your delete means a real delete^^
And
If you deleted a PM without reading in INBOX(to_delete=1,read_msg=1),it goes to the READBOX when you undelete it.(to_delete=0,read_msg=1)
