some users login with another id automatically

i dont know what is the problem ( maybe ip) but some users automatically login at site with another username.
i uninstall remember me hack and emptied xoops_session table but still have this problem
any help would be really appreciated

you mean they're logging in in a username other than their own? so they're logged into somebody elses account?

u cud change the name of the session completely, that will make existing cookies invalid, so users will be issued a new 1 when they login..

have u any caching on the login blocks? if so, turn it off.. just a thought, u may already have thought abt that, but worth tryin..

excuse me for the stupid question but change the cookie from admin --> general setting ? xoops_session ?
and login block have no cache

my users also complain from this problem. what is the solution? i do everything. empty session table, disable auto login and so on.

i think that i found the problem.
ISP chaching !!! just a thought
if some users use one ISP internet provider and that ISP use cache is this possible to login in site with another id automatically?

if i said my users to logout from site is this problem solved for them?
what is your idea about this?

hi, do you mean like the webcache that isps sometimes use. which is entered into the proxy server part of your browser connections?

i wouldn't have thought that shud cause it, but if it does then i'd say it's a pretty big issue.. i'll try it when i get home tonight and see if it does for me.. i hardly ever use the isp cache feature but maybe worth trying it to see if i can reproduce your problem..

still i have this problem
one user tell me she going to site and see login fields filled with another id and pass so she click and going to site with that id???
someone can explain this?

i nearlly sure this is an ISP chaching problem but is there a way to solve this?
read this amazing example:
one of my users said he type url in browser and login automatically with another ID after that in newbb module the id change automatically to his own id.
