Linking to a custom html block

Having made several html blocks, I now want to put links to them in the left column. (I'm actually using an html block in the left column for rollover links.) But I haven't figured out how to create links to those that I want to appear in the center when chosen. I've scoured my XOOPS folders looking for signs of these custom html files but haven't succeeded. So how do I figure out the URL for them?

Hi,

Welcome to Xoops.

Define an html name like this :
Quote:

< a name="myname" >< / a >
any text you want

(without the spaces before an after the < and >)

then you just have to create a link like this one :
Quote:

http://www.example.com/index.php#myname

Thanks, but I'm still a little unclear.
You said to define the name with <a name="myname"></a>

I assumed that you meant to put that in the head of the html file that I was wanting to link to. But I tried that and it didn't work. I then tried putting it in the body of the html file, but that didn't work either.

What am I doing wrong?

place the link where you want to go. Not in the theme

Let's say that I have created an html block that I do not want on the top page, but I want to be able to link to it from the top page. So when a visitor clicks on the link in the left margin, the html page appears in the center like a frame. How do I do that?
