sounds familiar but can be many reasons.. can u be more specific as to what you're trying to do when u get the error..

is it the downloads module, wfdownloads, image gallery, xcgal, xoopsgallery etc etc..

a little bit more information would be a massive help to us non mind readers..

Thanks. Well, during the set up...just before the final stages, I get a warning that module/systems...is missing.
I then check and found that it is indeed missing. I then go back to my local harddrive and find that the folder in not in the unzip files. I configure my system to read hidden files...but still cannot see.
However, when I run unzip, I can see that the folder in under module..however, it will not extract.

This means that (I am assuming) that I cannot see anything on the index page...save for the header and footer!
Appreciate your help.

All versions of XOOPS come with the modules/system folder. I suggest you try downloading XOOPS again, sounds like your copy might have been corrupted.

i agreee with rowdie..

but if u see the header & just the footer and nothin else, that will indicate another problem more than likely aswell.. maybe a permission problem.. but lets go 1 at a time, starting with downloading a fresh copy of the latest xoops.. it's easier this way if u have a fresh new site as at least we don't have to worry abt your database contents..

Thanks. yes, I can see the file in the zip directory. The problem is that it does not extract. All the other files and folders extract except this particular folder.....module/system?!
