i finished work with my XOOPS project and the beta-test is running now. but there is one problem i dont know how to solve.
the testers are members of "Registred Users", "Betatester" and sometimes of "Special". But all non-admins cannot use the xoopspoll module. they can see the block but the cannot vote.

all 3 groups do have the permission for the xoopspoll module. so where is the problem?

We can't reproduce your issue... Maybe you can check with php or myslq debug on?

Is there a date after which no one is allowed to vote in the poll? Sounds like a config issue within the module to me, not a XOOPS core issue. Good luck,

the date to vote is not yet expired. so where do i have to search for the issue?
i checked all group permissions / module configs / ...

its the xoopspoll module.

Are you sure the groups have module access rights? I can reproduce your problem, but only when the group has block access rights, and no module access rights. Then they can see the block but are not allowed to use it.

If your groups have both block access rights and module access rights then I'm afraid I have no other ideas for you. I can't reproduce the problem any other way

Re: permissions

Maybe the poll module became unstable. Upload the poll module again and overwrite the files.

Back up your old files first.
