I am always wondering what is the function of xoops_session. Yes, I understand very well and have been using it in the "custom" session section. What I really want to find out are:

1. Where is the documentation on this? (I could not find any thing in the "Document site").
2. What is the difference between the "default" and "custom" sessions?
3. How can we make it different or modify the parameters?

THX.

Take an example, if you have two different websites inside the main domain, except if I made a mistake, without custom sessions, you will be able to go from one site to another without typing your name and password.
