Forum doesn't display [Beginner's Corner] - XOOPS Web Application System

Forum doesn't display

I can't get the forum module to display at here. I've added categories and forums underneath and forum appears in the menu. I've reinstalled a few times and upgraded. What am I missing?

what version of newbb are you using?

try to enable php debug and try to update your templates.

to enable debug:
system admin -> preferecens -> general settings

to update template:
system -> templates
remove your current clone template and recreate it.

i think this problem is cause by the template cannot be found. also you've to make you upload all the templates files. hope that can help you.

Thanks for the tip on enabling the debugger. You were right that the template directory was messed up - the group write bit wasn't set correctly. I did initially have the forum working, but was doing repeated module installs/uninstalls.
Anyway it's working now. Thanks.
