Hi altogether

This night I had installed and configured the newbb2rc3 module.
Now I'd like to explain my users what the statistic bar are for. Therefore I wanted to creat an announcement thread but I couldn't finde an option to do so.
Does anybody have a solution? Creating a sticky thread in each subforum doens't seem very logical to me, ...

NewBB is Xoops' NewBB not a stand-alone BB.
Why not use xoops' block for announcement?
