anyone got any ideas why i would get the following error?

i'm not installing from scratch my hosting company uses a script to do the work for me, it worked on previous versions of their installer is this a XOOPS problem or a hosting company problem? Can anyone tell what is causing the problem? What's on line 5470?!!!

If your hosting provider uses their own install scripts, then I'd say hit them first. Obviously on a properly configured system XOOPS has no trouble, so considering your environment I'd be checking with your host first.
